Two Minute Microwave Fudge
& Our Recipe Collectioną

.Here is an offering from our 100% Tolerance Recipe Collection a collection of very tolerant recipes for those who have a vague idea that there is a room in the house/apartment with a refrigerator in it.

Our first offering is a delight for the lazy choc-o-holic in you. This is a great first recipe because: You don't need to know how to cook 2. It produces awesome fudge 3.} It allows you to "bring the dessert" to anything from a cook out to a six course formal dinner. (HINT: The more formal the affair, the smaller you cut the pieces.) This microwave fudge recipe is practically foolproof. Don't tell anyone and you'll get credit for hours of work, as well as great fudge. Downside: In the future no one will believe that you don't know how to cook

Cooking Skill level required: Zero to None. (must be able to pour, stir, and set a microwave oven timer.)

Ingredients: 1 pound box of confectioner's sugar [This is not the same as normal, use it in your coffee, granulated sugar. Confectioners sugar usually comes in a box, not a bag.; 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa [The kind you make hot chocolate from, but, NOT pre-sweetened ( The Hershey's® brand say's "Great for baking" on the front of the dark brown tin and the words unsweetened cocoa are hidden on the side )] , 1/2 teaspoon of salt; 1/4 cup of milk; 1/4 pound stick of butter.

Tools needed: a microwave oven; a 1 1/2 quart or larger microwave safe bowl; a spoon or other stirring implement; a 10" round plate or larger (how large depends on how thick you like your fudge.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1.) Place the sugar, the cocoa, and the salt into the bowl.
2.) Stir up everything until it appears to be well mixed.
3.) Add the 1/4 cup of milk to the bowl and stir until it is mixed with the dry ingredients.
4.) Place the stick of butter on top of the other ingredients in the bowl. (This looks weird. Trust us.)
5.) Place the bowl in the microwave.
6.) Cook on HIGH for 2 minutes or until the bottom of the bowl feels warm.
7.) Stir contents of bowl well.
8.) Pour onto buttered plate and chill.
(Hint: You butter the plate to keep the chilled fudge from sticking to the plate.)
