Poe and H. P. Lovecraft by Robert Bloch This is an interesting article by noted science fiction and horror author Robert Bloch, comparing Poe and Lovecraft. Robert Bloch (1917-1994) is perhaps best know among the genral populace as author of Psycho (1959, adapted for the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh), but he is also widely known as the winner of several science fiction Hugo awards and as the author of some of the best works in the science fiction and horror genres. This site contains links to a number of Robert Bloch related sites.
